Borivali village in Thane district does not have clean, potable water. This is despite the 40-lakh rupees project under a World Bank-funded scheme to provide drinking water to villages in Maharashtra. "They have built this big tank and kept but where is the water? We are tired of this. The man who has to release water says there is no water. What can I do," says Rashidabi, a Borivali Resident.
