The Aam Aadmi Party ran a demonstration of how secret codes could be used to hijack an Electronic Voting Machine but critics have been quick to point out that this was a test on a simulated machine, not a genuine EVM. The Election Commission has challenged the party to try to hack a real EVM. Was it a legitimate expose or a stunt to deflect attention from the bribery allegations against chief minister Arvind Kejriwal-levelled by sacked minister Kapil Mishra?
