"I questioned how the police was functioning after side-lining local officers. The IGP in front of someone powerful said that the SSP wanted to file an FIR against me. A few elected reps (said) the specific police officer said that he will pay any amount to them to dislodge me from the position of mayor", says Junaid Azim Mattu, Srinagar Mayor on how he was threatened with FIR.
