India’s newest airport, the Noida International Airport, is breaking new ground in green construction. It has become the country’s first large-scale infrastructure project to use low carbon LC3 cement, a technology developed in Switzerland and implemented on a large scale for the first time in India, marking a major step towards sustainable and climate-friendly infrastructure. NDTV’s Science Editor Pallava Bagla visited the laboratory that pioneered this new green technology and spoke to Prof Karen Scrivener at EPFL.
