Dr Naresh Trehan, Chairman and Managing Director of Medanta, The Medicity, talks about the role of private hospitals in the time of a pandemic – novel coronavirus. He emphasised on creating COVID hospitals and said it can be done in two ways, "either to turn the present facility into COVID dedicated facility or private hospitals can isolate areas and dedicate it for COVID." Dr Trehan further stressed on the importance of lockdown and how it has given India a time to prepare for the surge which is yet to come.
