The Supreme Court has been looking into the allegation that reporting by a section of media of the Tablighi Jamaat was used to demonise and blame the entire Muslim community. The Court isn't satisfied with the Centre's affidavit, and says it should consider setting up a regulatory mechanism to deal with such content. The big question is: Can a government-appointed regulatory body end media hate?
