Delta Plus Variant Not Dominant Strain, Needs Monitoring: AIIMS Chief

The Delta plus variant is not a dominant variant in the country but the new strain is being closely monitored, Dr Randeep Guleria said. "We need to carry more surveillance and do aggressive genome sequencing to see how this variant is behaving in our population and need to prepare accordingly," he said.
