NEET, Delimitation, Cauvery: Vijay's Wishlist At South Meet With Amit Shah
With Union Home Minister Amit Shah on stage, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Joseph Vijay on Thursday list out his opposition to NEET and Delimitation; demanded fiscal justice for the Southern states and made a case for Cauvery water. Home minister on Thursday chaired the 31st meeting of the Southern Zonal Council in Tamil Nadu's Mahabalipuram. Amit Shah is the Chairman of the Southern Zonal Council, while the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister is its Vice-Chairman. Vijay made a strong case against the centralised NEET exam for medical colleges calling it unfair on students from poor and rural backgrounds.
