Nikhil Kamath Warns 2027 Could Be Tough For Startups Amid AI Bubble Fears

Zerodha co-founder Nikhil Kamath has warned that raising capital could become more difficult in 2027, citing a widening gap between the money flowing into artificial intelligence and the revenue it is generating. In a conversation with Rahul Kanwal, Kamath said the estimated $700-$800 billion annual gap between AI investment and enterprise revenue would need to be bridged, raising questions about the sustainability of current spending levels. He suggested that entrepreneurs who can raise funds now may benefit from building a financial cushion ahead of potentially tighter funding conditions.
