NDTV Exclusive: Pappu Yadav On His Equation with Lalu Yadav, Tejashwi Yadav

In an exclusive conversation with NDTV's CEO and Editor-in-Chief Rahul Kanwal, Independent MP and Bihar leader Pappu Yadav spoke about his complex relationship with RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and his son, Tejashwi Yadav. Responding to questions about who the true leader of the Yadav community is, Pappu Yadav said he is the one who helped make Lalu Yadav the Leader of the Opposition before 1990. He dismissed suggestions that Tejashwi, the Opposition's chief ministerial face in the 2025 Bihar assembly elections, is insecure about him, saying he has already had opportunities as Deputy Chief Minister twice.
