US Secretary of State Marco Rubio will land in Mumbai on October 20 for a high-profile India visit focused on trade, energy and strategic cooperation. With Rubio saying a long-awaited India-U.S. trade deal is "very close", his meetings with External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar and his visit to Reliance's Jamnagar refinery are expected to spotlight energy ties, defence cooperation and the next phase of the India-U.S. partnership.
