The world's first nuclear-powered aircraft carrier made outside the United States is currently deployed in the Indian Ocean. This, as the Indian and French navies conducted the annual bilateral naval exercise 'Varuna'. The deck of the French flagship can accommodate 30 fighter jets, which can take off in just a matter of three seconds.
