Aquila 2 News | US Forces Seize Oil Tanker Aquila II in Indian Ocean
US forces detained the oil tanker Aquila II in the Indian Ocean on Monday, intercepting the vessel approximately 200 nautical miles off the coast of Oman. Footage from the operation shows troops approaching the tanker by helicopter and disembarking onto the deck. The tanker was reportedly en route from the Gulf toward East Asia. According to the Pentagon, the interception was carried out to enforce existing US sanctions and prevent the transport of prohibited cargo.
