For decades, the National Film Awards have largely been associated with New Delhi, with Vigyan Bhavan serving as the traditional venue. But this year, the 72nd National Film Awards will be presented by President Droupadi Murmu at Ekta Nagar in Gujarat, breaking a long-standing convention.
