Aam Aadmi Party's national spokesperson Reena Gupta has questioned the BJP government over pollution and put forth two demands of the country's people. "In our country, where there are 39 most polluted cities, the majority of which are in Uttar Pradesh, what smart city is the central government talking about? Why was the website built with the money of Delhi taxpayers shut down? The government should make the data from the SAFAR website public so that the public can know the sources of pollution. A meeting of all the environment ministers of North Indian states should be convened, and a solution to pollution should be found," she said.
