Makar Sankranti 2026 | International Kite & Sweet Festivals Kick Off In Telangana Telangana is hosting a unique sweet festival, as 550 participants bring the taste and flavours of sweets and savoury cooked in homes from across the country. Tradition and technology come together for a celebration of the skies for Sankranti festival in Telangana this year. Besides kite-fliers from 19 countries, there is also drone soccer and hot air balloons lined up.
