Bastar, a Maoist-hit region in Chhattisgarh, saw an "incident-free and peaceful" polling process on Friday, says Sundarraj P, Inspector General, Bastar Range. "In the last few elections, we have seen the locals turning out in huge numbers at polling stations, not heeding to the boycott call given by Naxals," he tells NDTV.
