Kolkata Hospital OPD Services Disrupted Amid Nationwide Protest
Patients, who came for medical and health services, were seen waiting outside the OPD (Outpatient Department) at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata on August 13. Federation of All India Medical Association (FAIMA) called for a nationwide shutdown of OPD services from today in connection with the alleged sexual assault case of a postgraduate trainee doctor. A post-graduate trainee doctor was allegedly found raped and murdered at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata on August 9.
