Kochi Waste Plant Fire: Extent Of Disease Depends On Duration Of Exposure, Says Health Expert

"The fumes are carcinogenic. Overall, the immediate health concerns don't seem to be that much. The extent of the disease depends on the duration of exposure," Former president of the Indian Medical Association Cochin, Dr Rajeev Jayadevan said when asked whether the fumes coming out of the landfill in Kochi contains carcinogens.
