On CCTV: Patient’s Son Assaults Doctor Inside Mumbai's Kalyan Hospital
A doctor was assaulted inside Bhanu Jyot Hospital in Kalyan East, with the incident captured on CCTV. Dr Yogendra Jaiswal was reportedly explaining a patient's condition when the patient's son, Vineet Deshmukh, entered the cabin and attacked him. An FIR has been registered at Kolsewadi Police Station and legal proceedings have begun. The incident has once again raised concerns over the safety of doctors and medical staff at hospitals, with the medical community demanding stronger measures to prevent such attacks.
