Wildfire Rages Across Nevada, Spreads Beyond 10,500 Acres And Forces Evacuations
A fast-spreading wildfire northwest of Reno, Nevada has forced evacuations and road closures as the Hawk Fire grows beyond 10,500 acres. The blaze has prompted Nevada Governor Joe Lombardo to declare a state of emergency in Washoe County. Traffic camera footage shows flames burning near Highway 395 close to Red Rock.
