Karur Stampede: TVK Gives ₹20 Lakh To Families, ₹2 Lakh To Injured
Actor Vijay's TVK has deposited ₹20 lakh each to the families of those killed in the Karur stampede and ₹2 lakh to the injured. The party also said it would adopt the victims' families and support them. This comes a month after 41 people died during a TVK rally in Karur and amid criticism from DMK over Vijay’s silence on the tragedy
