'Release Everyone, Withdraw Every FIR': Protest Leaders Issue Fresh Warning to Centre
The controversy surrounding the student protests has taken a fresh turn on two fronts. CJP spokesperson Saurav Das hit back at BJP MP Kangana Ranaut over her remarks on the protesters, saying even her own party does not take her seriously and urging her to maintain political dignity.
Meanwhile, student protest leaders have made it clear that they are not satisfied with partial relief. They insist that all detained protesters must be released, every FIR linked to the movement must be withdrawn without conditions, and the Centre must provide a written guarantee that no retaliatory action will be taken in the future.
