NEET Paper Leak | Eknath Shinde Defends Govt's Action On NEET Leak, Urges Against Politicisation

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has termed the NEET paper leak "unfortunate", saying it affected the future of lakhs of students. However, he criticised attempts to politicise the issue, asserting that the Centre is standing with students and has acted swiftly. Shinde highlighted the government's measures, including a fast-track legal framework with up to 10 years' imprisonment and a ₹10 crore fine for paper leak offences, as well as the formation of a task force led by experts, including Nandan Nilekani, to recommend examination reforms.
