Karnataka SIR | Form 7 Becomes New Flashpoint In Karnataka As Congress Flags Alleged Voter Deletions

The Karnataka voter-roll row is intensifying over alleged misuse of Form 7 during the Special Intensive Revision (SIR). The Karnataka government alleges that pre-printed forms were used to target genuine voters, including minorities and vulnerable groups. Home Minister Priyank Kharge has further alleged that living voters were being declared dead through Form 7 applications and questioned how voter details reached those filing the forms. The BJP has rejected the allegations, while the Karnataka CEO says no voter is being deleted merely on the basis of Form 7 applications.
