As Karnataka gears up for the 2028 Assembly elections, the political battle over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls has intensified.

In an exclusive interview with NDTV, Union Minister and JD(S) leader H.D. Kumaraswamy alleges that the Congress government is misusing the SIR process, questions Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar's leadership, and claims the Congress remains internally divided despite projecting unity.
