Why is illegal iron ore mining in Karnataka such a big deal? Scams surrounding this multi-crore industry have made headlines over the past many years as violation of laws results in the state not getting the revenue it is entitled to. Despite being an activity that is not so easy to hide and committees set up by the Supreme Court to look into it, why is the looting of Karnataka's iron ore reserves still on? NDTV's Maya Sharma has this report.
