Bajwa claimed the government remained silent on the allegations, accused the Punjab Police of acting like the ruling party's private militia, and alleged that senior police officers had links to drug-related cases. He also claimed that officers allegedly connected to gangster Lawrence Bishnoi remain untraceable. Bajwa further demanded the formation of an inter-house committee to investigate illegal mining across Punjab and urged legislators to visit the alleged mining sites.
