Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a swipe at the previous UPA government during an event in Vadodara, claiming that despite being in power for several years, it failed to complete even a kilometre of work on the dedicated freight corridor. Modi said voters had sent his government to power in 2014 and that the previous government was subsequently voted out.
