"Right. So, if India's per capita income back in 1950 was just $60. Today it is $2,200. So clearly things have improved a lot. Very significant changes in the levels of poverty that we have seen. But this has happened globally. And so, India's ranking in per capita income terms, has gone up somewhat in the last few decades. But still, we are starting from a very low base and our ranking in per capita income terms is still in the bottom 25%. So, just a perspective to keep here that in economic terms and size terms, we're back at number six,' investor Ruchir Sharma said.
