Punjab Cop Shot While Returning Home After Duty, 3 Attackers Followed Him
An ASI posted with the GRP Amritsar was shot while returning home after duty in Punjab’s Ajnala tehsil. ASI Sukhchain Singh said three men followed him and opened fire, with a bullet piercing his arm. He was rushed to Civil Hospital in Ajnala, where doctors said his condition is stable. Police are investigating the identity of the attackers and the motive behind the shooting.
