Indian-Origin Lawyer Slams Donald Trump's Fresh 15% Tariffs
Indian-origin lawyer Neal Katyal, who challenged US President Donald Trump's tariff policies in the Supreme Court, has strongly criticized Trump's fresh 15% additional tariffs. Katyal argued that under the US Constitution, only Congress has the authority to impose tariffs and said Trump must "do the right thing" by seeking congressional approval. His remarks come after the US Supreme Court ruled against Trump's reciprocal tariffs, following which Trump announced new 10% and 15% tariff measures on global nations.
