India's Electricity Crisis: Tariffs To Rise?

Electricity tariffs are now likely to rise. The government has said that the reserve coal stocks continue to dip and therefore coal-based power plants want to pass on the cost of the imported tariffs to the consumer. Are electricity tariffs going to rise in the coming days, that's the big question we debate.
