Karnataka Congress News | "Uncertainty Is Not Good": Veerappa Moily On Karnataka Crisis

Former Karnataka CM Veerappa Moily has weighed in on the ongoing leadership uncertainty within the Congress government in Karnataka, stressing that political stability and a strong team are essential if the party hopes to return to power in 2028. Speaking amid intense speculation over a possible leadership change involving Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister D. K. Shivakumar, Moily said the Congress cannot afford prolonged uncertainty at a time when the BJP remains an aggressive political challenger. While refusing to back any one leader directly, the former Karnataka Chief Minister said the priority should be strengthening governance, ensuring stability and building a cohesive team capable of taking on the BJP-JDS alliance in the next Assembly elections.
