IIT Madras's Motorised Wheelchair Opens Up Job Prospects For Differently Abled

An innovative motorised electric wheelchair incubated and developed at IIT Madras could open a new range of job opportunities for the differently abled, including in e-commerce delivery space. Called Neo-Bolt, a co-founder of this vehicle had officially turned into a Zomato delivery person to highlight the opportunity this new mobility could open up. The motorised vehicle can be detached and doubles up as a simple wheelchair giving the crucial last-mile access to the differently-abled besides dignity and independence. NDTV's Sam Daniel spoke to Sidharth Daga, the Co-founder and  Selvam, a user as well.
