Humayun Kabir Breaks Away From TMC, Claims Kingmaker Role In Bengal
Suspended Trinamool Congress MLA Humayun Kabir has announced plans to launch his own political party ahead of the 2026 West Bengal Assembly elections. Claiming he will emerge as a “kingmaker,” Kabir has invited Congress, Left parties and AIMIM to join hands, asserting that both Hindus and Muslims are disillusioned with the TMC. Preparations are underway in Beldanga, Murshidabad, where the new party will be formally launched.
