People Walk Uphill Carrying Beds, Mattresses In Flood-Hit Himachal
Heavy rain in Himachal Pradesh has led to floods in several districts of the hill state. People were seen leaving homes, carrying whatever they could on their back. Two men who were carrying a bed and mattresses on their back stopped briefly to speak to NDTV. "We are shifting to drier areas in a nearby village," one of the men said. Others are shifting to higher ground, carrying heavy belongings.
