Supporters of the National Democratic Alliance presidential candidate Draupadi Murmu are celebrating in a big way as she heads for a win in the election. The result will be out this evening. "Glimpses of the euphoria ahead of the anticipation for the big announcement," Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan tweeted, along with a video of tribal artistes dancing in Odisha, the home state of Draupadi Murmu. In BJP-ruled Assam, the party's supporters in bright red-and-white attire danced on the streets, giving a traditional performance. The opposition candidate is Yashwant Sinha.
