Shibu Soren Posthumously Awarded Padma Bhushan; Wife Rupi Soren Receives Honour
Late Shibu Soren, widely known as ‘Dishom Guru’ and regarded as a key architect of Jharkhand, was posthumously conferred the Padma Bhushan on June 23. President Droupadi Murmu presented the honour at Rashtrapati Bhavan, with Soren’s wife Rupi Soren receiving the award. The recognition marks his contribution to public life, social justice, and the empowerment of tribal communities.
