France, Germany Send Firefighters to Aid Spain's Wildfire Fight
Description: French and German firefighters have been deployed to assist Spain, which is currently experiencing one of its most destructive wildfire seasons in decades. The blazes have burned over 382,000 hectares, an area more than twice the size of metropolitan London. While thousands of firefighters, soldiers, and aircraft battle the fires, police have detained 23 people for suspected arson.
