After AYUSH secretary's statement asking non-Hindi participants to leave a webinar sparked a controversy, DMK MP Kanimozhi said the insistence on speaking in Hindi was "totally unacceptable". "It is like excluding one part of the country. Why do you have to do that? You can at least make an effort to put subtitles. I don't think any officer has the right to say, 'I am going to speak only in Hindi, you can leave if you don't understand," she told NDTV.
