Defending her husband and seasoned actor Dharmendra's visit to Mathura for an election campaign, BJP lawmaker and Mathura candidate Hema Malini told NDTV that his visit was not aimed to convert votes. "He visited Mathura for the love of the people," Ms Malini said. On Dharmendra campaigning for her, Ms Malini said she was excited to have her husband by her side. The popular Bollywood couple had addressed a rally for the Jat community in Mathura where a massive crowd had turned up.
