Delhi Rain | Red Alert In Delhi As Monsoon Triggers Widespread Waterlogging
Relentless monsoon rain has battered Delhi-NCR, triggering widespread waterlogging across Delhi, Noida, Gurugram, Faridabad, and Ghaziabad. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red alert, warning of more heavy rain and thunderstorms. Flooded roads disrupted traffic, stranded commuters, and forced parents to carry schoolchildren through submerged streets in Noida. In Ghaziabad, a car fell into a construction pit amid rain-induced road cave-ins, while residents blamed poor drainage and inadequate civic maintenance for worsening the crisis.
