Multiple spillway gates of the Salal Dam in Jammu and Kashmir’s Reasi district have been opened after a rise in water inflow into the reservoir. The increase comes amid continuous rainfall in the upper catchment areas, raising water levels and prompting the release of excess water through the spillway gates.
