"Daily Use And Misuse of Sedition Law Is Gross": Abhishek Manu Singhvi, Congress MP
Speaking about the sedition law, Abhishek Singhvi, Senior Advocate, Supreme Court, and Congress MP, tells NDTV: "I think the law should not exist. The UK abolished it in 1920, that is more than 100 years from today. It is a draconian thing, and it does not deserve to exist one more minute. It is 100 times bad in the way in which the law is being used; its use and misuse daily is gross".
