Chennai's Oil Spill Crisis: Community Outcry Amid Suspicion

Communities in inundated pockets of northern Chennai are battling an oil spill. A video of the spill is going viral. Many suspect this could have been deliberately let into the Buckingham Canal that was in spate after heavy rain when cyclone Michuang approached the city. The Pollution Control Board has collected samples. Denying pipeline leak, Chennai Petroeum Corporation Ltd (CPCL), a refinery in the region, has said it's investigating.
