As Union Home Minister Amit Shah tore into the Trinamool Congress, less than 50km away, Mamata Banerjee conducted a padayatra in Chalsa in the neighbouring Nagrakata seat. She also took part in tribal dance at the end of the padayatra to mark the occasion of Poila Boisakh or Bengali New Year.
