US Resumes Hormuz Blockade Against Iran, Deploys Over 20 Warships

The United States has resumed its naval blockade on vessels transiting to and from Iranian ports, and has deployed more than 20 US Navy warships across the region. US Central Command said the blockade is aimed at enforcing restrictions on maritime traffic linked to Iran while allowing other commercial shipping to continue. The move marks a major escalation in the ongoing US-Iran standoff and comes amid heightened tensions in and around the Strait of Hormuz.
