New Zealand and Finland reaffirmed the need for continued international support to Ukraine for as long as it takes so that the conflict ends on terms set by Kyiv, New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern said in a joint media briefing with her Finnish counterpart, Sanna Marin, after a meeting in Auckland. When a journalist asked, however, if they were meeting because they were "similar in age and, you know, got a lot of common stuff", the two Prime Minister replied, "We are meeting because we are Prime Ministers."
