Allegations Of Tablet Funds Diversion Rocks Bengal
The Kolkata Police have launched an investigation into allegations of siphoning of money meant for students who are being provided tablets for their education. The opposition is alleging a scam as over hundred complaints have been filed at police stations across the state with funds meant for tablets for students going into unauthorised bank accounts. The scam prompted police to launch an investigation. So far, 93 cases have been filed, and 11 people have been arrested in connection with the fraudulent activities, said police.
